Getting ready for the Holidays

It may seem a little early, but here at Soap Cafe we are getting ready for the holidays. With the addition earlier this year of our bar soap we must start early due to the 4-6 week cure time. In addition to filling MGM orders we have been making great bar soaps for the holidays. The favorite this week is a Pumpkin Lager. It has sweet notes of cinnamon and sugar without that sweet headache scent, delicious! This soap and many others will be available the last week of October!

Bigger Soap Bunny

Happy Afternoon!~ After receiving a request for a larger bunny soap I made one. I love him he's so cute and twice the size of the little soap bunnies (but you get two with those)

Each Chocolate scented soap bunny is about 5 inch tall and comes wrapped in a cello bag with our pink ribbon.

Take a look. He is available now on my site www.SoapCafe.com or Etsy

Weekend Soaps

Over the past few weeks I have been increasing production for some events I will be doing this Spring/Summer (more on that to come later) This last weekend I made 2 different soaps. One is a Nakie Bar or Nakid bar that contains no frangrance and no colorant. Just a natural bar of soap with nothing added. This is for my customers who may be sensitive to scents and don't want anything extra.
The second bar is Tropical Lychee. This bar smells fruity and exotic without smelling like a tropical beverage or being heahachy. Next up, a blue bar and I am tring the colum swirl again, hopefully with better results.

Way too Long~

It's been way too long since I posted. Over a year! I must get better. Lately I have been working on CP soap making. This is a different process than soaps I have offered before. These soaps are made from oils and butters. Yesterday I made a Sedona Sunset soap. It smells AMAZING and is very colorful.

These soaps must cure 4-6 weeks before they will be available.

Candy Overload

Halloween is over and the sugar hangover has begun. At Soap Cafe the best seller has ALWAYS been Soap Bon Bons followed by Tubcakes. For the holidays I offer the Soap BonBons wrapped holiday style. They are in the same great gold box but wrapped in red fioils and a red bow. This all came about when I made about 20 boxes as favors for a company dinner party as a request. The bon bons were being given to the wifes of the international visitors from Japan. I am now offering them again in the red foils and red bows for a limited time.

Black Eye Licorice & Graveyard Bar - 2 pack

I've been working on some Halloween Soaps for a few days and finally finished them up. I am so happy with the way they turned out! Below is the listing on Etsy, since they are the "normal' soap cafe treats!
Your soap is looking at you and there is a skeleton in the shower, it must be Halloween. Each box contains one of each 4oz bars, for a total of 8oz. The first bar is our Black Eye Licorice bar, which contains 3 soap eyes and in smells just like black licorice. The second bar is a Graveyard bar and contains a soap skeleton and is scented an osthmanthus, floral/fruity scent. Two soaps packaged together in one clear box, each shrink wrapped.

Halloween is almost here!

One of my favorite times of year is Halloween. The decorations at our house have been up for weeks. The table is set all scary and pumpkins are all around. Tonight we will be making scary soaps at the Soap Cafe. Last year one of our pumpkins was a Cheshire cat, enjoy!
